The Pacific Northwest (PNW) ISCEBS Chapter is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing unbiased education to benefits and compensation professionals in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah and Hawaii. Members have access to a variety of educational resources and networking opportunities that can cultivate connections, broaden knowledge, and enhance careers. ​The PNW ISCEBS is one of 42 chapters of the International Society, which are located throughout The United States and Canada.   
The International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (ISCEBS) and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) are sister organizations.  Along with its university partners the IFEBP developed and supports the CEBS designation.  The ISCEBS is a membership organization for supporting CEBS designation holders and students.

The International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists (ISCEBS) is the premier interactive community providing educational resources, innovative thinking and collective wisdom to help it's members excel and prosper in their careers.

​The ISCEBS community of benefits professionals is committed to career-long learning through objective education, shared industry knowledge and networking opportunities.  Members are dedicated to fostering the health and financial security of the plan participants they serve.

This membership organization is open to those who have earned (or are pursuing) the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Group Benefits Associate (GBA) and Retirement Plans Associate (RPA).

IFEBP

The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) is a nonprofit organization, dedicated to being a leading, objective, and independent global source of employee benefits, compensation, and financial literacy education and information.

The Foundation delivers education, information and research, and networking opportunities to thousands of benefits and compensation professionals who have come to rely on it for objective, accurate, and timely information. We invite you to discover what makes the International Foundation different—and how it provides members with the latest benefits and compensation resources.

PACIFIC NORTHWEST CHAPTER

The Pacific Northwest Chapter of the ISCEBS is organized exclusively for educational, charitable and scientific purposes as meant and within the meaning of those terms as used in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, which include the following specific purposes:

( 1) Through education to improve and develop the capabilities of those persons who hold the CEBS designation awarded pursuant to the program jointly sponsored by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, Inc. and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania;

(2) To analyze and identify the educational needs of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (CEBS designees) in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah and Hawaii;

(3) To provide continuing education to CEBS designees through educational conferences, classroom instruction, meetings and publications; the information to be derived from such means to be utilized by CEBS designees in the better performance of their duties and thereby directly benefit beneficiaries of employee benefit plans and indirectly benefit the national citizenry;

(4) To promote the training and education of CEBS designees in the management and operation of employee benefit plans.

OUR MISSION.

  • ​Provide continuing education opportunities through educational programs addressing timely and critical benefit issues at meetings and seminars
  • Offer an exchange of information among employee benefits professionals at the local level
  • Support candidates in their pursuit of the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation
