About Us
The Pacific Northwest (PNW) ISCEBS Chapter is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing unbiased education to benefits and compensation professionals in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah and Hawaii.
Members have access to a variety of educational resources and networking opportunities that can cultivate connections, broaden knowledge, and enhance careers. The PNW ISCEBS is one of 42 chapters of the International Society, which are located throughout The United States and Canada.
Deliver High-Quality Education and Resources
Provide conferences, meetings, instruction, and publications that strengthen CEBS expertise in managing and administering employee benefit plans.
Identify and Address Educational Needs
Assess and respond to the continuing education needs of CEBS designees across the Pacific Northwest region.
Advance CEBS Professional Excellence
Support the ongoing professional development of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (CEBS) through education, training, and industry engagement in employee benefit plan management.
The Pacific Northwest Chapter Mission
To support and strengthen the local employee benefits community by providing continuing education through programs and seminars on timely and critical benefits issues. It promotes the exchange of information among local employee benefits professionals, supports individuals pursuing the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation, increases awareness of the CEBS credential in the community, and focuses on recruiting and retaining members.
Meet the Board
The Board of Directors is responsible for managing the operation of the chapter and providing professional development opportunities to chapter members. Please feel free to contact any board member if you are interested in volunteering for the Board or have any questions.
The 2026 Board of Directors is composed of four Chapter Officers and five Directors At Large.
The Board meets monthly to discuss Chapter business and operations, including educational event planning. Board of Director meetings are conducted via web meeting/conference call which usually occur on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 10:00am to 11:00am PST.
